Bolak-balik Perbaiki Laptop Acer

Pada 6 Mei 2006 saya membeli notebook Acer (tipe TM NB 2423 NXWCi) seharga Rp 6.300.000. Setelah sembilan bulan pemakaian, pada Februari 2007 notebook tersebut mengalami kerusakan dan motherboard harus diganti oleh Acer Customer Service Center di Ratu Plaza, Jakarta. Mengingat masa garansi sudah hampir habis, saya memperpanjang garansi notebook menjadi dua tahun.

Setelah diperbaiki, awal Juli 2007 notebook kembali mengalami kerusakan, bahkan hingga mati total. Kembali saya bawa ke Acer service center dan diganti kabel switch penghubung antara power dan motherboard. Selesai diperbaiki kembali notebook saya mengalami kerusakan yang sama pada akhir Juli 2007. Namun, perbaikan yang dilakukan Acer hanya bertahan satu bulan. Karena pada 4 September 2007 notebook kembali mengalami kerusakan yang sama sehingga saya harus datang kembali ke Acer untuk diperbaiki.

Selesai diperbaiki, untuk kelima kalinya saya harus datang pada 29 September 2007 ke Acer service center untuk kerusakan yang sama. Notebook tersebut selesai diperbaiki dan bisa dibawa kembali pada hari itu juga. Namun, setelah dibawa pulang ke rumah, notebook saya pakai sekitar satu jam dan kembali mengalami mati total. Saat ini saya sudah menyerah dan lelah untuk kembali membawa notebook ke Acer service center.

Saya sudah tak memercayai kinerja Acer service center karena untuk satu jenis kerusakan bisa berulang hingga lima kali. Luar biasa. Kini kepercayaan saya atas produk Acer sudah tidak ada lagi. Ternyata produk Acer cepat rusak dan servis purnajual meragukan.

Sekarang saya hanya menunggu masa garansi notebook habis karena percuma jika dibawa kembali ke service center. Sia-sia sudah ongkos yang dikeluarkan dan waktu yang terbuang mengingat jarak rumah yang jauh.

Pada awal tahun 2007 saya membeli motherboard Asus dengan harapan karena mempunyai nama besar berarti mempunyai kualitas kontrol yang baik. Namun, alangkah kecewanya saya karena beberapa minggu setelah membeli motherboard itu mengalami kerusakan. Namun, sesuai perjanjian dengan pihak toko bahwa motherboard bisa diganti dengan yang baru sebelum satu bulan.

Setelah saya ganti dengan barang yang baru dan tipe yang sama, ternyata setelah beberapa minggu terjadi kerusakan yang sama. Kemudian saya coba ganti lagi dengan yang baru, tetapi beda tipe (p5vde-mx). Beberapa minggu setelah itu komputer saya mudah hang meskipun tidak terlalu sering.

Yang membuat saya lebih kecewa terhadap Asus adalah seiring berkembangnya kebutuhan, saya meng-upgrade memori menjadi DDRII 512MB. Namun, alangkah terkejut saya karena hanya terbaca setengahnya, padahal saya sudah coba ganti (DDRII) dengan yang baru.

Saya kecewa karena perangkat hardware komputer Asus yang sudah mempunyai nama besar ternyata menjual barang yang tidak berkualitas. Belum setahun saya sudah tiga kali ganti motherboard Asus meskipun saat ini masih bergaransi servis. Saya sudah lelah karena barang baru saja sudah rusak beberapa kali.
